I never thought why Gibson have not made a Billy Gibbons signature Les Paul or an exact replica of his famous Burst yet. Seems quite logical to do so but the Rev has been ignored but not until now.
Gibson Custom have announced they have been working on a “Pearly Gates” replica and a release date is around the corner.
I am very excited because Billy Gibbons is one of my all time favourite guitar players - great technique, great tone and great guitars. I read his book containing images of his most famous axes and was left speechless. Wow! The guy has an unbelievable collection of vintage guitars, modern guitars and a few things that are called guitars but look like anything else but guitars :-).
I will be phoning Gibson dealers to inquire about pre-ordering one of these sweet instruments.
